Jeez, you guys are wetting your pants about everything Rage is gonna do, and it's just been a few shows. Whether you liked Audioslave or not, fact is, they put out 3 gold albums while Zach has done nothing. And even though Chris Cornell wasn't a political lyric writer, Audioslave played a lot of benefits for political causes. Even Tim Commoford said, and I quote, "to tell the truth, Rage said a whole lot, but we really didn't do much."
Hey, I like Rage as well as the next guy, but you guys are drooling like they're gonna take up arms and lead the revoloution. Well, they were supposed to lead it back in the mid-to-late 90's, and what happened? They emploded under Zach's ego and that's when the Britney Spears and the Limp Bizkits took over. How about waiting till they actually put out an album of new material before you Zach lovers start creaming your jeans? Just sayin'.

i read in a mag, quoted from tom morello,  that there may be a few live performances, but at this time there are no talk of a new album.
     i will be seeing him(nightwatchman) open for ben harper in june, and plan to try to hang around after the show to see what he has to say.

I'm in agreement with AudioSlave.  On paper, it seemed like a great band, but to me...they just didn't mix well.  I'm not saying they were horrible, they were good.  But it was hard for me to listen to it because I knew the whole time how much they could have rocked with De La Rocha.
I think the world needed a good wake up call with RATM coming back.  I really wish they could have done this sooner, but now is just as perfect a time as ever.
