No "color button". That would require making a color wheel. Mixing that with an inline pop-up and live HTML preview? That's overdoing it a bit ;)

But I am learning ...didn't know a thing before last June in regard to website stuff
And getting back to new gadget...wasn't trying to take anything away from it ... it is a cool thang.
Just so used to my crappy little forum posting - on my crappy little site and so ...used to the wee colour button...
But hey I will cope....

We considered some ideas like that for the new blogging system - but we'll see.

Personally, I hate it when I'm trying to read something online and someone changed the colors all wonky and it's hurting my eyes. At least w/this current system, you'd have to kinda know your stuff - and therefore would be less likely to pick some blaring light pink color against an off-white background :)

Oh God I wish I could edit my original message....
I would delete my colour comment for sure! lol

As it seems to have entirely detracted from
the original compliment -

I LOVE it Love IT Love It
Its SupperDooper , Easy to Use...Well designed...
Footnotes are Ace!

Hmmmm Glaring Pink on Off White? - anywhere in particular?
see feeling all paranoid now!

Strangely ..just posted to Mikey in his blog - about how text can
so easily misinterpreted - and especially when from a different
country, continent where humour, dialect, common language
all differ.
I waffle away in my 'voice' forgetting you don' know me from Adam
and don't know how I am 'saying' things....
hmmm.... the next step.....talking comments? ...lmao! (joking!)

It's okay. I'm not angry at ya or anything ;)
I just used this as an opportunity to explain why we don't have a button for color - I'm sure someone else would wonder as well. heh.

okey doke...
I have one little 2 part question...
what is 'pre' tag and 'code' tag
Thanks Hunny Sexy Bunny!

"pre" is for "pre-formatted text" - it'll use a typewriter-style text and take out any HTML tags, etc. within the text.

"code" is for posting HTML code, but not having it render out. We haven't quite finalized that yet - so it's kinda useless right now.

example :

this is pre-formatted text

does this mean all your future comments are going to make as liberal usage of these buttons as humanly possible?

Ahh well. At least you won't complain about the flash embeds anymore ;)
